Description
All About Me Can't You See was designed to expand on Erik Erikson's eight stages of social and emotional development. Social-emotional development includes core features of recognizing and understanding a child's ability to express themselves through experience and to identify and understand one's own feelings. This book gives children the opportunity to explore themselves, understand their likes and dislikes, empathize, recognize, relate to others, and develop written expression skills. It is important to provide the opportunity for children to discover new things and ideas as well as encourage the knowledge of family and friends from a social context. Because we all are unique, what better way to express experiences and emotions through color. Each page provides the opportunity to add color by using crayons or colored pencils.
