Morrigan was raised at a school for magic, surrounded by every supernatural species from werewolves to Fae to people who can shapeshift into dragons. The difference between her and them? Morrigan is human, left on the doorstep of the school, Moonvale Academy, as a baby, unwanted by her birth parents. Now sixteen, Morrigan has gotten used to being an outcast. They have a long history of fighting, and now that they're returning, there's a strong possibility Earth will be caught in the middle, destroyed in a war most humans don't see coming. But one does. As the only human who knows about magic or the looming war, it falls to Morrigan to save Earth. If she doesn't, she'll lose everything she holds dear.
