Fading Colors ABC's (Paperback)

Join, Kono, a wolf pup, on his journey through an alphabet of endangered species. This full-color children's non-fiction ABC book includes vivid hand-drawn images of each animal as well as interesting facts about the animals' habitat and activities. Additional text gives readers a glimpse of the animals' endangered status, conservation tips and a glossary of related terms. It was written by four high school seniors as part of a community project aimed at educating early elementary students about the dangers facing animal species around the world. Part of the proceeds of each book will go to support the Nature Conservancy's work in Nebraska.
