Glookie the Shy Little Glucose Tab is the story of a child who lives with Juvenile Diabetes told through the eyes of a glucose tab. Glookie is the artistic impression of a glucose tab drawn by a Type 1 child and represents just one of the many supplies diabetic kids must carry with them every minute of every day. This book tells of life with and without modern technology such as insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors and the sale of each book profits the Glookie Foundation a 501(c)3 organization. The Glookie Foundation is dedicated to helping families afford this technology.
