Description
Nearly 15, Kiki, lives in a mystical, isolated, coastal village. After strange sightings of a ship off the coast causes whispers through the town, one night children go missing, sending the village into shock. Amidst her journey of becoming a young woman she must now embark out to sea on an adventure with her brother, friends, and foe to rescue the missing children.
Kiki, on her newfound quest, gains the help of some unexpected allies and a new bird friend, Gullbert. She and her friends navigate personal struggles, including parenting dilemmas, narcissism, bullying, teen angst, romance, and beyond. Their adventure broadens far past the original mission from promises made along the way. As they work to create peace for the entire region from the tyranny of Donne. They meet and enlist other people from other villages, adding their skills and challenges to the journey.
