Mae's Vacuum (Paperback)

The year is 1969. Nine-year old Joe-Joe is a little too curious about his mother Mae's brand new vacuum cleaner. Eventually, after Joe-Joe vacuums all the dirt from a potted houseplant, the machine explodes! Dirt particles are everywhere in the room and Mae will be home in an hour.
