Description
After Zak arrives at a two-week summer horse camp in the Washington Cascades, he meets new friends and falls in with an amateur sleuth who's intent on investigating a series of suspicious activities occurring at the ranch. Eventually, the 'investigation' leads to a daring night ride into the mountains to Pickax Pass where the fabled ghost of One-eyed Pete resides. Zak and his friends agree to the ride--after all, it's the last night of camp, the 4th of July, and they want to make it a night 'worth remembering.' Unfortunately, what follows is not exactly what they bargained for. Mystery At Camp Saddle-Up was written for pre-teens but appeals to a broad-based audience.
