King James VI & I asked for an English translation of the Bible in 1607. Over 40 translators and specialists in ancient Hebrew, Latin and Greek were enlisted to ensure that it was a true copy of the original. It was completed in 1611 and this is the King James Version of the Bible created in a series of easy to follow chapters for children.
