Description
Ever since Maison's father's death, she has done her best to keep her little sister and mother from knowing when she's really feeling down, and she does her best to stay quiet too. When Maison's mom signs her up for the local musical, she is anxious and unsure if she really feels like performing in front of an audience. And what will Tilly and Zora, the girls who constantly pester Maison both at school and after school, say about her being onstage? As Maison and her fellow cast members get farther into their preparations for "The Sound of Music," Maison begins to make friends for the first time in a long time, and she learns that maybe she does have a voice. But will her voice be loud enough to get through to her bullies?
