Description
A story about how the giving spirit comes through a motley crew of arctic critters. Santa's spirit of giving is about more than mere presents. In this story, time is positioned as the mother of all gifts, and after tragedy a mother polar bear discovers that she has more to give. The Spirit of Santa Claus shines through each of the characters as they gather to forge a family of order in the shifting arctic. The story is meant to blend Christian themes with environmental concerns, quirky animal behavior, and a reimagining of the character of Santa Claus as one embodied by a universal icon in the pola bear.
