Wascana's Amazing Journey (Hardcover)

A story of a a young goose whose wing becomes injured as he attempts to fly to the warmer south for the winter with his family and friends. He tries to make it on his own but cannot and he is befriended by a small boy who protects him as the goose's wing becomes stronger and powerful. They have a fun winter, making snowballs, playing hockey, sledding and reading. When the snow melts, the goose must be on his way with his flock as they fly north for the summer. It is a " good" goodbye.
