Description
How many parents are terrified by the mere thought that
one day we will no longer be present in the lives of our
children, unfortunately that is the reality that all parents
in the world live every day.
And it is the reality of life, that one day we will not be, I
say that all human beings have an expiration date, and we
cannot change that, or on the contrary, think that you are
in a very long line where we all meet, but each of us has
a lighted candle, which stays lit all the way we are in line,
until our turn comes and the candle goes out, but when
will our turn come? we do not know that, that is why we
began to prepare ourselves as parents, in order to be able
to teach our children without them realizing how to live
life when we are no longer around.
Just thinking that one day we will no longer be here causes us immense sadness, because, although our chil-
dren grow up and form their own family, made up of their partner and children, for us as parents they will
never grow up, and they will always be our babies.
Because we as parents think about who will take care of
them, who will feed them, who will be looking after
them, even if they are children or adults, it is a genuine
and understandable concern. Many times as parents we are selfish and we even over-
protect them so much that many times without realizing it we suffocate them, and instead of doing good without
realizing it we do harm to them.
