Description
The story of Zoflanbo is one of many Haitian folktales passed down through the oral tradition just as our African ancestors have always done. It is a story of a young woman who marries a man who she later learns is wicked. She realizes that she does not even know his name and she must find out his real name in three days or she will not live. This book is dedicated to my mother Leonide Victorin Lacet whose animated bedtime stories of Haitian folktales kept alive our Haitian and African oral traditions as well as the beautiful Haitian Kreyòl language.
