Description
"Zouree the Green Birdie" is a peaceful story focused on power of imagination. Zouree, a rainbow-billed toucan, misses his nestling when he falls apart from home as he gets a notice from the birds of prey to fight some enemies. Peacenik Zouree resists fighting but he has no power against the established order so he resorts to his imagination. The story questions war and promotes beauties of peaceful living. It has a happy ending with Zouree reuniting with his family.
