Having a coloring book about Animals will help to engage a child's attention for many reasons. First of all, they are not just looking at the animals and learning how to identify them. They are actually given a blank image of an animal that they can color how they wish. Although most children might color the animal in the way that they know the animal looks, it still gives children the opportunity to work with experimenting with animals and their appearances. This triggers creativity in children, while reminding them what animals look like. If children are able to identify animals in their coloring book and color them how they wish, then in real life they will be able to identify animals much better. Of course, coloring is fun for a child because they can be creative. If they get bored coloring one animal, they can move on to other one.
