If you go walking in a creek be careful that you don't fall through. This is exactly what happened to Eli and Sophie. They fell right through into a world of talking animals, robots, elves, dwarves, and all sorts of wonderful creatures, a world called Mymesis. But other things entered this world with Eli and Sophie, things that they never expected. One of them is a bully who has been giving Eli a hard time, but in the new world he is much worse than a bully. And while Eli deals with bully trouble, Sophie's family is being pulled apart.
