It has also given a little encouragement & hope to multifarious families & groups during our times of grief, despair, depression & uncertainty. Expressions of LOVE, CARING, COMPASSION, AFFECTION, SADNESS, FORGIVENESS, the WILL TO DREAM & the WILL TO LIVE flows throughout this book in words and in our pictures. Family is EVERYTHING!! They can hold you up & also be there to tear you down. We can excuse the negative behavior that is on constant display (keep quiet. What goes on in the house, stays in the house) or Love that person from a distance and move forward. Without "Madea", "Big Momma", elderly aunts, uncles and cousins, I truly do not know where I would be today. These people helped form me into becoming the VERY BEST person that I can be. Which have helped with making the decision to give a portion of the books proceeds to the homeless and others in need in the name of my "Big Momma" Cora L. White.
